Verstappen enjoys the moment and the records

At the Austrian Grand Prix, Max Verstappen collected his seventh victory from nine races so far this season, as well as his 42nd triumph in the Formula 1 world, overtaking Ayrton Senna.

Red Bull’s Dutchman is confirmed with each passing race as he looks uncatchable on his way to a third world title. Although the 25-year-old himself says that he is not thinking about the title at the moment, but is focused on the championship as he takes the races one after the other.

“I don’t want to think at this moment about the records, it’s true that I passed someone like Ayrton Senna, but I’m only focused on the championship.

I’m enjoying the moment, I’m enjoying this great car and I’m enjoying working with this team.

I am very happy with the performance in Austria and now the focus will shift to the next race at Silverstone.

In the last race in Austria it was important to stay in front of Leclerc on the first lap and then everything became easier.

We didn’t go into the pit stop when the safety car virtually came in and it worked out well for us, I knew we would make it and catch the Ferrari duo again.

We followed our plan and in the end we came out with our heads held high,” said Verstappen.
