Trepca triumphs over Keravnos in the Champions League qualifiers

Trepca has won the first qualifying match in the Champions League. In Antalya, Turkey, Mitrovica won against the Cypriot team Keravnos 82:79 (23:14, 21:30, 19:12, 19:23).

The match was actually very interesting, being decided in the last moments.

The champions of Kosovo started the match much better, winning the first quarter 23:14, but the Cypriots’ counterattack did not take long, where the first half ended in a tie, 44:44.

The ‘Miners’ were again better in the third period, but Keravnos came back, making the match very interesting.

The decisive factor was the triple of the MVP of the Super Cup, Desmond Cambridge for 80:79, while two points from Malik Johnson from the free throw increased the lead to 82:79, while the Keravnos basketball players, in the last action, tried three times for three points, but without success.

At TrepƧa, Mikaile Tmusiq stood out with 20 points and six rebounds, Desmond Cambridge with 22 points and Samuel Hunter with 10 points and six rebounds.

On Friday, TrepƧa will face the Czech champion, Nymburk.

If it reaches the final, TrepƧa will play against the winner of the meetings between: Kutaisi (Georgia), Levice (Slovakia) and Kalev/Cramo (Estonia).

There are 24 teams in the qualifiers that will join the 28 teams that have already been determined for the new edition.
