Gjilan did not start the new season of competitions in the elite of Kosovar football in the best possible way, but one of the positive things after the five rounds developed is undoubtedly the high form of the attacking midfielder Robert Rrahmani.
In an interview for the Football Match Up, Rrahmani talked about a wide range of topics, starting from his individual form this season with Gjilan to the objectives he has with the club, the composition of the team after the new transfers and the reason why he chose to become part of the ‘Hawks’ considering the large number of offers.
Regarding the numbers he has reached at the beginning of the season, Rrahmani prefers to remain modest, saying that there is still room for improvement.
“For my form, taking into account the preseason, I have tried to give my best and I am satisfied, but there is room for improvement in both technical and technical aspects, where together with the coaching staff I am working on their improvement” Rrahmani said first.
Further, he spoke about individual and collective objectives, saying that the main goal is exiting Europe.
“My personal goals are to improve my form as I believe that there is still room, as well as to increase my statistics and therefore help the team to reach its goals, and this year we aim to reach Europe”.
Gjilanasi were one of the most active teams during the summer transfer window, completing several big transfers such as Ergys Kaçe, Armend Thaçi, as well as the purchase of the striker Senad Jarovic’s card.
“I believe that the transfers made so far are on point and with time we will reach the compound and then I don’t doubt that the required results will come”, declared Rrahmani.
Finally, he said that the project of the Gjilan club was the main reason why he decided to sign for ‘Skifterat’ among the many offers he had on the table.
“The project of the Gjilan club together with the technical staff were key for me to be convinced to sign with Gjilan as based on these circumstances I believed that he will find himself best here and I will have the opportunity to reach his maximum potential” , concluded the 23-year-old.
