Luton goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski is responsible for an early tackle on the craziest red card of the season after being sent off against Portsmouth.
After Luton were beaten 4-1 by Burnley in their return to the Championship last week, Rob Edwards’ side looked to pick up a first win in their second game of the season against Portsmouth.
But their goalkeeper didn’t do them any favors after receiving a completely outlandish red card in the first half.
Just 29 minutes into Fratton Park, Kaminski was booked for time-wasting.
Two minutes later and he received a second caution after an inexplicable moment of madness.
Kaminski, who made 145 saves in the Premier League last season, went outside his goal and fouled two opposition players in the same sequence, prompting the referee to show him a second yellow card.
He first brought down Paddy Lane and after a lead was conceded, Conor Ogilvie was pounced on by the Belgian. /Football Match Up/
