The supercomputer of the well-known company Opta has already revealed the favorites from first to last to win this new edition of the most prestigious European competition, the Champions League.
The 2024/25 Champions League kicks off tonight (Tuesday) from 18:45 with the new format but the old favourites.
It is Opta’s supercomputer that has come up with the latest update where it has revealed the chances of each team to win the trophy this edition.
First on the list is Manchester City with 25.3%, thus seeking their second triumph in this elite European club competition.
Behind him is the historical winner, Real Madrid, with 18.2% chance to triumph again in the Champions League.
In third place are the Italians of Inter with 10.9%, seeking to return to the top of Europe after almost 15 years.
Positions four and five are held by Arsenal with 6.3% chances and Bayer Leverkusen with 5.2%, expressing that they are the surprises of this edition.
The top ten is completed with Barcelona, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig, all these teams with small differences between them.
Other big clubs such as Borussia Dortmund (11), Atletico Madrid (13), Juventus (15) and AC Milan (20) are listed in the following positions.
According to Opta, clubs such as Celtic, Dinamo Zagreb, RB Salzburg, Sturm Graz, Brest, Crvena Zvezda, Shakhtar Donetsk, Slova Bratislava and Young Boys have a 0% chance of winning the trophy.
