Nagelsmann reveals the two men who unfairly sacked him at Bayern

Julian Nagelsmann did not stay more than two years at Bayern Munich and was fired on March 24, 2023.

In charge of Bayern he won a league title and two German Supercups, but says he was unfairly sacked.

“Let’s put it this way, I made mistakes, but I think the club did too. I came at a time when the club was in a transition process with Hasan Salihamidzic and Oliver Kahn at the head of the club”.

“I think the reshuffle in the management positions was perhaps a little too much in the circumstances and that Oliver and Brazo first had to ‘swim’ their way clear of Karl-Heinz Rummenige and Uli Hoenes,” Nagelsman told.

He cited Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola as examples, who needed several years at their respective clubs, Liverpool and Manchester City, to win major titles.

“It is expected from one day to the next”. The 37-year-old coach also expressed self-criticism and made comparisons with his time as national coach. /Football Match Up/
