Spanish midfielder Pedri had some choice words for Luka Modric, Croatia’s big star, ahead of their first match at EURO 2024.
The young ace of Barcelona already has experience in the game against the master of Real Madrid, about which he spoke before tomorrow’s match between Spain and Croatia in the first round of the European Championship.
The match kicks off at 18:00 in Berlin and should bring another clash between two fantastic players.
“Every time I was on the field with Modric, I noticed that it was very complicated to get the ball from him. I feel like he has it taped to his shoe! And another thing that surprised me, which is not noticed so much in television broadcasts, is that Luka plays in a rhythm that is wonderful.”
“And then, of course, that touch of the ball with the outside of the leg… Everyone knows how spectacular it is,” declared Pedri.
The midfielder struggled with injuries last season but managed to make 34 appearances for Barcelona, scoring four goals and assisting five times.
