According to The Times, Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite ahead of a potential summer move.
The Red Devils have agreed a multi-year contract with the 21-year-old and agreed a big pay rise for him too.
Manchester United are reportedly ready to hand him a wage package of around €165,000-a-week if he seals his move to Old Trafford.
He is reported to be currently earning around €42,000-a-week at Everton, meaning the Englishman could see his wages quadruple if he joins the Red Devils.
Man United have yet to agree a potential transfer fee with Everton. The Toffees value him at around 82 million euros.
But Red Devils officials feel agreeing a deal with Branthwaite’s representatives is a step in the right direction. /Football Match Up/
