Erik ten Hag has made Bayern Munich’s Noussair Mazraoui their top target of the summer as the Dutchman believes he can help bring Antony back to form.
Mazraoui is one of the options being considered for the right-back, as Ten Hag trained the 26-year-old during their time together at Ajax.
He supported Antony on the right wing during the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 seasons where they won the league title and excelled as a duo.
The Moroccan international joined Bayern in May 2022 while Antony moved to United in August of that year for €82 million, rejoining Ten Hag but failing to prove himself.
For the transfer to go through, Wan-Bissaka, who has a year left on his contract, must leave first.
The defender, who was transferred from Crystal Palace for 45 million euros in 2019, costs about 15 million euros, while recently the possibility of exchanging him with Denzel Dumfries of Inter was also discussed.
The news about Mazraoui’s possible transfer to Manchester United was announced by journalist Florian Plettenberg.
