Leny Yoro has shared an emotional message on social media following the injury he suffered by taking a heavy knock early in his Manchester United career.

Yoro joined United in a deal worth €58.9 million, beating off competition from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.

He immediately impressed on his debut against Rangers, showing good skills with the ball at his feet and in aerial duels.

However, he suffered a leg injury against Arsenal and was later seen walking on crutches.

The 18-year-old underwent surgery, while the club confirmed that he is expected to return to the field after three months.

Through a post on social media, Yoro posted several photos, including one of himself after surgery, sharing a message with fans.

“This is not the start I wanted, but this is football. The operation went well. Thanks for all the messages of support.”

“Now, time for patience and rehabilitation. See you soon, stronger”, he concluded.

The French talent could miss up to ten Premier League games through injury, including against Liverpool, Tottenham, Aston Villa and Chelsea./Football Match Up/
