The new season of the Champions League opened in a fantastic way, as a goal for the main TV moments was scored already in the 20th minute, where the author was the young Turk of Juventus, Kenan Yildiz.
With two matches from 18:45, the Champions League started with the new format. Juventus play against PSV, while Young Boys are facing Aston Villa.
The main innovation is that there are now 36 teams in the Champions League, instead of the previous 32 teams, and that all teams are placed in a table from 1st to 36th place.
All of them will play eight games, in what is now known as the first phase.
The first goal of the new season was the masterpiece of the young Turkish footballer Kenan Yildiz for Juventus’ 1-0 lead over PSV.
