Dani Carvajal wants Real Madrid to sign Rodri and this is what emerges from the excerpt of the Spanish defender’s interview in “El Partidazo de Cope”.
In the interview, journalist Miguel Angel Diaz asked him if he would sign Rodri for Real Madrid, to which Carvajal replied: “Yes, without a doubt, I tell him every day. Leave Manchester, there is no sun, come to Madrid, we need you, and you are from here, from Madrid”.
Juanma Castano then asks Carvajal what the Manchester City midfielder’s response is when he hears that question. The Real Madrid star reveals that Rodri always tells him he has a contract, while declaring that it would be great for the midfielder to play for Los Blancos.

Rodri signed for Manchester City in the summer of 2019, from Atlético Madrid, in exchange for his €70 million release clause.
In the summer of 2013 he left AtlĂ©tico’s youth team for Villarreal, where he rose through the ranks to reach the first team in 2016, before AtlĂ©tico Madrid bought him for €20 million in 2018.
In Man City he has 257 games and has been at a high level for five seasons, being one of the most outstanding players in Pep Guardiola’s team, the undisputed starter and recognized worldwide as one of the best midfielders in world.
