Hamilton raises his voice against Mercedes

A 12th place and then a 15th place for Lewis Hamilton, in the first two free practice sessions held at the Silverstone circuit (England), show that Mercedes has taken some steps back this season in Formula 1.

The one who raises the alarm is the 7-time world champion, who on the eve of the official tests demands changes from the German car.

“The car needs a change in terms of race pace. With the soft tires we were very low, while the climate also made Friday’s test difficult.

The track changed from minute to minute and for me the car was difficult to pilot”, said Hamilton.

“This is a problem that we have been facing for a while, although we are making many modifications to repair this defect.

Even in a single lap we didn’t see any change for the better in terms of tires, which indicates that there is something wrong.

“I don’t understand why the car is so difficult to drive on a track like this,” said Hamilton.
