Fred scored the first hat-trick in his career, Mourinho invites the Brazilian to the bench

It was a great Sunday for former Manchester United duo Jose Mourinho and Fred as Fenerbahce secured a dominant 5-0 win.

Mourinho, who joined the Turkish club this summer with the aim of winning the league, was reunited with Brazilian midfielder Fred, a player he moved to Man United in his final season at the club.

Fred, making his first start of the season in the Turkish Super League, quickly proved his worth.

The 31-year-old surprised everyone by scoring his first career hat-trick in the victory over Caykur Rizespor.

The Brazilian was all smiles after his hat-trick and shared a laugh with Mourinho on the bench after being substituted in the 81st minute.

Fred opened the scoring with a long-range shot into the bottom corner after 15 minutes.

In the second half, he scored a second goal, taking a pass from former Newcastle star Allan Saint-Maximin and firing into the top corner.

Just four minutes later, he completed his hat-trick, scoring with his left foot. /Football Match Up/
