Manchester City star Erling Haaland broke another Premier League record during the 2-1 win over Brentford.
The Norwegian was aiming to become the first player ever to score three consecutive hat-tricks in English football’s top flight.
But although he missed out on this record, he actually secured another Premier League record.
He has now scored nine Premier League goals in the first four games of the season, more than any other player. In fact, Haaland has more goals than any other team in the Premier League so far.

Haaland chose to play against Brentford despite being granted leave by the club not to disclose the cause of death of a family member.
“It was a difficult week for him, but yesterday he was better and we tried to help him.”
“Sometimes that’s the best way to face challenges, to forget some things and do your best, do your job and he did that again,” Guardiola said after the match./Football Match Up/
