Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Atletico Madrid has completed the agreement with Manchester City for Julian Alvarez and the one with Chelsea for Conor Gallagher.
The transfer pundit took to social media to reveal that the Argentinian forward and England midfielder will be under Diego Simeone from the 2024/25 season.
Fabrizio Romano wrote on Twitter: “Conor Gallagher to Atletico Madrid, here we go!”
“After the exclusive late night news of his green light at Atleti, all is well for the transfer. Five-year contract for Gallagher, 42 million euros as a fee to Chelsea for the English midfielder. Medical tests booked for Wednesday”.
As for Alvarez, Romano wrote: Julián Alvarez in Atletico Madrid, here we go! The agreement in force for a fixed fee of 75 million euros plus an additional 20 million”.
