Spanish club Atletico Madrid has officially confirmed the transfer of goalkeeper Juan Musso from Atalanta.
Atletico Madrid have increased their Argentinian contingent to six players in their current squad with the addition of goalkeeper Musso.
The 30-year-old has joined Los Colchoneros on a season-long loan deal from the Serie A club.
“Atletico de Madrid and Atalanta have reached an agreement for the loan of Juan Musso, who will play for our club until the end of the season,” the announcement states.

The deal comes after back-up goalkeeper Horatiu Moldave left Sassuolo on loan in search of minutes, just six months after arriving at the club.
Musso has two caps for Argentina and moved for €20.5 million to Atalanta in 2021, and after a first season as No. 1, has struggled for a starting spot, but it looks like they will lead with Marco Carnesecchi this season.
The Argentine is unlikely to feature much for Atletico, barring Jan Oblak’s injury. Two years ago, the Slovenian suffered from a back problem for several months, but was healthy last season. /Football Match Up/
